Historically within the world of football, Women referees have never had a uniform of their own. Wearing a Men’s uniform (and under layers) is less than ideal when stepping on the pitch to do your job. My team was tasked with creating more equality in the global sport of football, giving us the opportunity to put resources behind creating product specifically for her. Pictured above is Nike’s first offering of Women’s Referee shorts within the Global Football business + Nike Pro short designed with female footballer insights.
