Working in a team of three, my contribution was building the digital concept and making pattern changes within CLO. By leveraging digital we were able to explore the unique drape of the garment while iterating design ideas.

In 2019 I had the opportunity to attend the PI Apparel 3D conference in New York to connect with other industry professionals focused on the the digital and sustainable transformation of apparel processes. With a focus on change management and 3D adoption, I walked away with insight on how to effectively influence and support an organization through industry change.

While my immediate design colleagues did not feel they had time to learn 3D, I was able to influence the adoption by showing how the team could utilize 3D to quickly choose color and evaluate print placement. Using a stepped approach, I worked to get designers into the technology without feeling the overwhelm of having to learn a new software.
